DISCLAIMER AND CLIENT DECLARATION - MASSAGE ONLY

Each of our clients will be asked to read through and sign our Disclaimer and Client Declaration as part of the consultation process. Your Therapist will provide you with this either via email or at the beginning of your appointment.

If you have any questions and/or require clarification, your Therapist will be happy to run through the details with you.

Once you are satisfied that you fully understand and accept all the points included in its content, you will be asked to sign and date the consultation form.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the consultation form is filled in accurately and comprehensively.

If you choose to withhold information, the Therapist will not be held accountable for any negative or detrimental outcome of your treatment. For the same reason, it is your responsibility to keep the Therapist informed of any changes in your health.

BODY MECHANICS CANCELLATION POLICY (PRIVATE CLIENTS)

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you are a subscriber and give less than 24 hours notice, the massage session will be deducted from your account.

For adhoc massage bookings/non-subscribers, in order to confirm your appointment, you are required to pay 24 hours in advance. Should you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, your payment will be retained.

Payment can be made via online bank transfer. Body Mechanics bank details will be sent to you via text.

Should Body Mechanics reschedule for whatever reason, you will receive a 100% refund.

MEMBERS

Members Payment
Payment will be taken on a regular basis according to your membership frequency (every 2 weeks, month, 6 weeks, 8 weeks or 3 months) and duration (45, 60 or 90 mins) via Stripe secure transaction service.

The massage subscription is for the subscriber only. Massage sessions are not to be passed on to others to use. Subscribers get a discounted rate. Any referrals you kindly pass on to us will be charged at the full rate.

If you are offered treatment dates, but don't book in a time for your next massage session, the session will be deducted from your account and your subscription schedule will continue as normal going forward.

Should your payment card expire, we’d appreciate it if you could update your details as quickly as possible for your massage subscription to continue. If payment isn’t received before your next due appointment/scheduled payment, massage will be delayed.

If you would like to buy a gift certificate from us, payment is required at the point of request and not at the point of delivery. The gift certificate will then be sent out to you via post or email, as you prefer.

Members Cancellations
If your appointment cannot be rescheduled due to less than 24 hours notice and/or to fit in with your chosen membership frequency schedule at a later date, your appointment will not be able to go ahead, but will still be charged.

Subscriptions are taken over a 12 month period. Should you wish to skip a session due to holidays, illness etc, you can do this twice and payment will be paused. Payment will then resume and your subscription will continue as normal.

Body Mechanics will do their utmost to try and fill or reschedule any cancelled sessions, to avoid the aforementioned scenario.

Should Body Mechanics reschedule for whatever reason, you will have your appointment rescheduled or retained within your account/treatment schedule at no charge.

 

 

LOCATION

Massage for Private Clients Only - currently only applicable to those within 15 miles of St Albans AL1 or within Ealing, Hanwell, Brentford, Pitshanger, Acton, Chiswick, Kew, Barnes, Richmond, Twickenham, Kilburn.

Other locations will be considered upon request and at Body Mechanics discretion.

For subscribers, massage is to be delivered at the same address each time

DATA PROTECTION

Client details are used solely for the purpose of service delivery, payment transactions and communications.

Clients can opt-in or opt-out of Body Mechanics communications at any point.

All client details are stored and processed securely at Body Mechanics and on Acuity Booking System and Stripe Payment Processing system.

SLA’s are in place with both Providers to ensure the secure storage and processing of data.

Body Mechanics Remedial is not liable for the Data Collection, Sharing, Storage or Use processes or practices of any Business Service or Partner Providers – we rely on these to adhere to the appropriate best practice and legal requirements.
